Slow Mo

This picture has nothing to do with anything I'm about to say, but we always say no one reads your blog if you don't have a picture... so that's my picture^. It's from when I got my nails done. I was being a raptor/dinosaur thing!
Anyways this blog is short. I just wanted to share about how I went running yesterday (When it was snowing!... I'm hardcore like that) and I twisted my ankle. I'm supposed to be in yoga right now, but I'm not because of my ankle and I'm a little sad. I like yoga!
Alright, that's all I wanted to say. I'm in the library supposedly working on homework. Peaceeee Out!

Spring Break

WHERE TO EVEN BEGIN!
First of all let's start with a preface. I've decided as a person that I often let my emotions govern my actions. This isn't always the way things should work since sometimes my emotions aren't very logical. That being sad I've decided to make a Pro and a Con list of my Spring Break (And i just loveeee making lists :) )
We'll start with the bad and end with the good
Cons:
1. I felt sick at the beginning of the week
2. I spent WAY too much money
3. My parents may kill me because i have spent so much money
4. I missed my friends in Cedar
5. I feel a little guilty for not going home
6. I've become terrible at staying in contact with people
7. I have a lot of laundry to do
8. I feel in love with California

Pros:
1. I love California
2. I got to go to the beach everyday

3. I almost got tan

4. I laughed hard
5. I slept a lot
6. I read a whole book
7. I had amazing food
8. I bowled a lot (this is also a Con cause I suck so bad at bowling)
9. I got to cuddle with two cute doggies
10.I got to explore beaches
11.I took a lot of walks
12.I went swimming everyday (I LOVE swimming)
13.Gina, Michelle and Ash visited me, Alpha Phi's are everywhere!

All Over You

I'm in the library again. I realized that Hannah was probably getting a little upset since I hadn't done a post in awhile. Nothing is really new in my life though. This week has been insanely BUSY! I've been staying on top of things school wise, which has been a major pain the bootay. Kaily and I have had practice for dancing with the stars, we're back up dancers for Timian and Blake (they're so good!). And Hannah I know what you're thinking... me... on stage... dancing?! BAD IDEA... but not really I don't do a lot so it's okay.
I don't even remember what happened Monday, I know yesterday I went to the gym with Alicia at 8am, which is early for Tuesdays, since I don't normally wake up until 9 on Tuesdays and Thursday. Then Alicia and I went around Cedar to take pictures for her photography class. Then I had English, Yoga and then I randomly ended up going to Maggie Moo's with Rachel, Kelly and Nick. It was fun, but then I came back and had to go to somewhere... Then dance practice at 7 which went until 9. Then Kaily and I had to go to the Phi house to get stuff then FINALLY I got to go home. Kaily slept over and Nick brought us hot chocolate- so cute! And we were all up until midnight! Needless to say I'm tired and a little grumpy today. I did get my eyebrows waxed though, so it'sall good! And I did my online homework assignments so I won't have to do them over spring break- yeah ya! Sorry about the lack of pictures right now, I even have a video to put up! I'll do it when I get home.

"It's Just SO Stupid!!"

(Sorry no picture! I'll add one later!)
There's this really smart kid in two of my classes. His name is Bram and he has purple hair, sometimes wears cowboy boots and in general most people tend to shy away from him cause they think he is so strange. Really I think he's just sick of being boring and therefore tries to jazz things up a little bit. Anyway he reads a lot and is really smart, in English he is constantly saying "It's just SO STUPID!" I often reflect upon this statement. It's only an opinion. But tonight I'm going to blog about somethings that I think are stupid. I know some of it may be hypocritical if you know me, but just because I do it doesn't mean I don't think it's stupid.
1. Drugs (the kind with bad connotations)
2. Spending massive amounts of time on facebook
3. Unnecessarily texting people "ok"
4. the bachelor
5. reality t.v.
6. laziness
7. math (only because I HATE it, but really I respect those that can do it)
8. Science " "
9. Judgemental people
10. Doing bad things even when you know you're not supposed to and it'll just make your life stink a little
11. drinking ^ see above
12. not cleaning your room, unless you like messy things (i do not)
13. not doing your laundry and then wanting to cry just a little when you have nothing to wear
14. not loving people
That's about it. Last night I watched the documentary Happy Valley. I thought it was amazing. Kaily watched part of it tonight and didn't like it. She said she already knew all this stuff. It just makes me sad. I wish people would just listen to their gut when it says, "DO NOT DO THIS."
In other happy news, Sharlene and I are continuing our workout plan and both feel a BUTTLOAD better. Alicia i still leaving (I lied, this is not happy news). And I... well I am just rolling along like a cheese wheel on ice. I've been missing my Mom a lot, we don't talk as much as we used to. I don't even think that it's because we're so busy or anything, we're just never in the right place at the right time to talk, but I am so grateful when we do.
Sometimes I think I'm a really tacky person.

Jumbalaya

Today's post is going to be a Jumbalaya. Yes, I do realize that's a southern dish made with shrimp, but I think it should have more meaning than that. It should also mean a plethora of random collections of thought. I should make my own dictionary byhean. With that let's proceed (ps it just took me like 5 tries to spell proceed right... oh dear, my brain is going to mush!).
First of all, don't sleep with boys (once again, not like thhhhat). Just don't do it, it makes you feel strange and it's not worth it, because is the end that boy isn't worth it. There really are no exceptions, remember, your the rule. So as you might have guessed Travis and I are no longer a non-couple, but I am relieved and happy. It sounds tacky to say, but I am so okay with being just by myself it's crazy! Don't get me wrong, I loveeeee holding hands, and kissing and growing close to someone, but I wasn't feeling that with him. As much fun as he was, I really felt like there wasn't a whole ton of purpose to being his non-girlfriend.
And I know I say this ALL the time, but I JUST LOVE MY ROOMMATES. They make me laugh and think and are just soooo fun! Sharlene is just SO FUNNY (lol). We have late night talks, I mock her stories (sorry Shar, you just make it soooo easy :p), and pretty much everything is funny around her, oh and I love working out with her. Alicia is just a sweetheart, how I ever made important decisions without her I'll never know. She is so wise lol. And Kassidy, with her sarcastic remarks, never fails to make me laugh or think.
I can't even take a picture without Laughing! And of course I couldn't have made it through these past couple of days without Hannah. She's such a wonderful besty. I just wish I could be in Florida with her!! Lucky duck. Or I wish she was here to laugh and talk with me. WHY! are we so far away :(.
I'm also super grateful for John, he bought me lucky charms for my art project on Sunday. I would have been totally lost without him. I don't even mind that he makes me straighten his hair everyday.
I love John... but in a sisterly kind of way
And I love Alpha Phi! I'm doing a lot in my position right now, as Director of Marketing and I love it. I get to attend the Senior Expo's and order pencils and magnets (which sounds dumb, but it really is fun!). I love it and the opportunities it gives me.
So, in conclusion, even though I should be upset or whatever about Travis, Life is still amazingly good! I'm happy :) (take that pessimism)

Dried Mango

I think I am officially addicted to dried mango. I eat about a bag every two days. This sucks, because not only can mango make you itchy, but it's expensive! I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH! It tastes like candy! I even try to convert everyone to like it. If your ever over, and I'm eating dried mango, you better believe your going to try it. It's like I'm starting a dried mango cult... but not really. Doesn't the picture below just say, "EAT DRIED MANGO, I LOVE IT, YOU WILL TOO!" In a kind of creepy way though....
So you can tell my life is getting pretty boring when I blog everyday. You can tell it's semi-exceptionally boring when I blog about dried mango. Really though i've only been bored right now! I've had a fun week! I've worked out everyday (except Monday)! And I've let my room become a mess and I'm building the Tower or Pisa out of cereal boxes! See, I am just so busy and not bored (this is a lie). Well I've got to go do something... where I will be very busy, but until then.... yeah, until then.

Motorcycles and Moments

I really like alliteration.

Travis and I... we're ccrrrazy!^
Like I've said in earlier post, this semester has been WAY too much fun. I haven't done a whole ton of school work, mostly just art projects, writing the occasional English paper, studying for art history or... yeah that's about it. I'm also only taking 14 credits though. So I have a pretty easy course load. ANYWAYS that is not what I wanted to talk about... but I guess you'll know anyways.
I wanted to say I LOVE MY ROOMMATES! Sharlene is sooo funny! Sunday night she thought it'd be a splendid idea to try and stand horizontally with crutches and put her feet on the wall, during this fiasco Travis came over... with his motorcycles helmet, thank heavens. Then he wanted to walk on the crutches! He was unusually good at it. Pretty sure he used to be in the circus.

^ His motorcycle
THEN! this is the best part! I GOT TO RIDE HIS MOTORCYCLE!!!! It was SO SWEET!!!! I LOVED IT!!!! I want a motorcycle now though. I did get a little afraid everytime we went around corners and the bike tipped.

^ the letters the Sig's gave us
The Sigma Chi's are such sweethearts. Love them too death, they gave us HUGE LETTERS! They are SO presh, Kelly and I just had to take pictures. I know I look fat, but it's because my coat is way too big for me!
And in other news we did this crazy yoga thing on Tuesday that was supposed to help relive stress, but it made me frustrated. I'm so sore from kickboxing, but it feels good. I had this awful dream with mischa barton in it. Travis has strep throat :( and therefore can not sleep with me... for awhile, but I did bring him popsicles. Life is good :)
